Broly is not a villain in the traditional sense and that’s the whole point. He didn’t choose any of this. Didn’t choose his power. Didn’t choose what was done to him as a child. Didn’t choose to be sent away or controlled or used. His power is not a gift it’s a trauma response that never got treated and never had anywhere to go. And the fight with Goku and Vegeta is one of the most visually insane things this franchise has ever produced but underneath all of that spectacle is just a person who got dealt the worst possible hand from the very beginning and never had anyone in his corner until Cheelai showed up.
