verything about this fight is about Gohan not wanting to be there. That’s the whole thing. Cell knows it. Uses it. Pushes him on purpose because a reluctant Gohan is more dangerous than a willing one and Cell wants that danger for himself. And then Android 16 says one thing and gets crushed immediately after and that’s it. Gohan stops holding back not because he wants to win. Because he finally runs out of reasons not to. And the Father Son Kamehameha after that. Goku coaching his son from beyond death. Gohan holding it together just long enough. I’ll call out my own bias here because this might be the single greatest moment in the entire franchise. This quiz is about everything that had to happen for that one moment to exist.
